About Charlie
Meet Charlie, a 20-pound Beagle mix with a gentle spirit and very unique needs.
Charlie arrived at Full Circle Rescue and Sanctuary with her litter. Despite receiving months of patience and care, she remains extremely fearful of people. She is not aggressive, but she does not seek human interaction. Being approached, spoken to, or even looked at directly can make her uncomfortable, so she prefers to keep her distance.
Although Charlie may not feel comfortable around people, she comes alive in the company of other dogs. They provide her with comfort, confidence, companionship, and joy. She happily sleeps beside them, follows them around, and looks to them for reassurance. For Charlie, other dogs are her safe place.

Gentle and Nonaggressive: Although she is extremely fearful of people, Charlie has not shown aggression.
