Shelby Humane’s adoption hours are Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 5 p.m., with the last animal pulled at 4:30 p.m. Appointments are recommended, and adoptions are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Drip Jr. is also eligible for Shelby Humane’s Weekend Warrior program, which allows approved participants to give shelter dogs a temporary break from kennel life.

Meet Drip Jr., a handsome, playful boy with a fun-loving personality and a gentle heart hidden behind a touch of initial shyness.
At approximately 2½ years old and 58 pounds, Drip is an athletic dog who enjoys playing, fetching balls, running around, and spending time with people. He has lived in a foster home, where his family had the opportunity to see how much joyful energy he brings into a household.
Drip may be a little reserved when he first meets someone. Treats are one of the quickest ways to earn his trust—and he accepts them very gently.
