Noodles’ Story

Noodles, a 3-year-old Pit Bull Terrier, arrived at Zeus' Rescues in New Orleans as a stray in August 2024. Since then, he’s transformed from a shelter pup to a thriving, cuddly companion in foster care, where his personality shines. Whether he’s joyfully rolling in the grass, hopping onto a park bench for snuggles, or calmly strolling through busy places like Petco, Noodles proves he’s an adaptable and easy-going buddy. He’s not fazed by squirrels or birds and shows little interest in other dogs, making him a low-maintenance walking partner.

Noodles’ gentle nature and eagerness to learn make him a delight for dog-savvy adopters. He’s crate-trained, rides happily in cars, and has no separation anxiety, fitting seamlessly into a home environment. After a year at the rescue, Noodles is ready for a forever family who will cherish his goofy charm, provide gentle training, and share in his love for cuddles and low-key adventures.

Ideal Home

Noodles would thrive in an active, dog-savvy home with owners who can provide love, structure, and a bit of training to polish his already great manners. A securely fenced yard or access to grassy areas is ideal for his joyful rolls and relaxed playtime, though he’s content with calm leash walks. He’s great with adults and likely suitable for families with older children who can respect his gentle, cuddly nature. While he’s generally disinterested in other dogs, he’d do best in a home where he can be the primary focus, with any pet introductions done carefully. A suburban or urban setting with space for snuggles and short adventures will make Noodles’ life truly special.
