Damon connects especially well with men, making him an ideal ride-or-die companion for an active household. He’s treat-motivated, smart, curious, and eager for training, with a goofy grin and melting eyes that will win you over.

Despite his long shelter stay, this brave and funny pup hasn’t lost his spark. A water lover at heart, he enjoys splashing in hoses, pools, or lakes, and his tail wags nonstop during car rides. Damon’s playful side shines with ball games and tug, but he’s just as happy curling up on the couch after a day of adventure.
Though he’s sweet with people—especially men—Damon has made it clear he’d rather be the only pet, showing a strong prey drive toward cats if they run.
