Sadie’s Story
Sadie, a 4-year-old Boxer, first arrived at Bright Eyes Care & Rehab Center in Choteau, MT, in January 2023. She was adopted but returned in 2025 due to her high prey drive, which led her to jump a 4-foot fence to chase a neighbor’s small dog. Despite this, Sadie’s sweet and loving nature shines through—she adores kids, gets along with male dogs, and is a favorite for her big, sloppy kisses. Her athleticism and adventurous spirit make her a perfect match for an active family who can provide a secure environment and plenty of playtime.
While Sadie doesn’t get along with female dogs or small animals, her love for people and water fun makes her a joyful companion. She’s house-trained, smart, and ready to settle into a home where her high energy and affectionate personality are celebrated. Sadie is eager to find a forever family who will cherish her playful, loving heart and keep her secure in a high-fenced yard.
Ideal Home
Sadie would thrive in an active, loving home with a securely fenced yard (higher than 4 feet) to accommodate her athleticism and high prey drive. She’s best suited for families with children and possibly male dogs, but not cats, small animals, or female dogs. Owners who enjoy long walks, water play, and engaging with a smart, energetic dog will find Sadie to be a perfect match. A rural or suburban setting in Choteau or nearby, with space for her to run and play safely, will make her life truly special.
