About Savina

Meet Savina, a smart and affectionate girl named after the Savina pepper—and just like her namesake, she brings a little spice along with plenty of personality!

Savina has blossomed into a deeply loving companion who adores her people. When she sees one of her favorite humans, she greets them with an adorable full-body wiggle and a big, toothy “smile” that is sure to make them laugh.

Although Savina can initially be shy around unfamiliar men, she continues to grow more confident through ongoing socialization. She thrives in a calm, supportive environment where she can build trust at her own pace.

Characteristics

  • Affectionate: Savina bonds closely with her people and loves spending time beside them.

  • Cuddly: She is happy curling up on the couch or resting peacefully at her person’s feet.

  • Smart and Trainable: Savina already knows several commands and enjoys learning new skills.

  • Food-Motivated: Treats are the way to her heart and help make training enjoyable.

  • Dog-Friendly: Savina can share her life with compatible canine companions.

  • Cat-Friendly: She may also be a good fit for a home with cats.

  • House-Trained: Savina is fully housebroken and has excellent manners inside the home.

  • Good on a Leash: She walks with an easy, relaxed gait and enjoys exploring with her nose and ears.

Training and Home Life

Savina thrives with structure, routine, and positive reinforcement. She already knows “sit,” “stay,” and “here” and is currently working on “down” and “heel.”

She is fully house-trained, behaves wonderfully inside the home, and sleeps soundly through the night. Her foster experience has allowed her personality to shine while helping her develop confidence and trust.

Savina enjoys exploring the world during relaxed walks, using her keen nose and attentive ears to take in her surroundings. Afterward, she is perfectly content settling beside her person for some quiet cuddle time.

Building Confidence

Savina can still be a little shy when meeting new men, but she continues to make progress through patient socialization. Her future family should allow her to approach new people and experiences at her own pace.

A calm and encouraging home with a predictable routine will help Savina feel secure. Treats, patience, and positive reinforcement will go a long way toward earning her trust.

Savina has done especially well with her foster’s 11-year-old grandson, showing that she can thrive around respectful children who understand how to give her the space and support she needs.

Ideal Home

Savina would be happiest in a calm and loving home that offers structure, patience, and plenty of affection. She needs people who will continue building her confidence without rushing her.

She is dog-friendly and cat-friendly, so she may fit well into a home with other compatible pets. Savina could also do well with respectful, age-appropriate children.

With her full-body wiggles, unforgettable smile, excellent house manners, and love of cuddling, Savina is ready to become a loyal companion who brings both sweetness and a little spice to everyday life.
