Paws Across Pittsburgh does not adopt animals outside Pennsylvania. Because the rescue conducts home visits, applicants should live within a reasonable driving distance of Pittsburgh—preferably in Western Pennsylvania.
The rescue is foster-home based and does not have a central facility where applicants can visit the animals. Meet-and-greets are arranged after an application has been reviewed and approved.
The current adult-dog adoption fee is $300. It includes age-appropriate vaccinations, a 4DX test for dogs older than six months, a microchip, and spay or neuter surgery. The rescue refunds $25 when an adopter provides proof of completing an eligible formal training program. Review the rescue’s current adoption information.
